    Let's talk
It’s a ready-to-use Kerala-style curry masala blend, with grated desiccated coconut as its base, combined with chilli, coriander, shallots, garlic and turmeric. It adds a roasted coconut flavour to curries such as theeyal, chana, potato, mushroom, egg, chicken and mutton. It’s a cooking ingredient, not a finished curry.
Yes. Add it while the curry is cooking, then stir and let it cook through so the roasted coconut flavour blends into the dish. Avoid adding it only after cooking.
You can mix it with a little water to make a paste before adding it to the curry. This is optional; it can also be added directly during cooking.
It gives curries a roasted coconut and spice flavour in a convenient ready-to-use blend, saving you from roasting and grinding those ingredients separately.
